A day of Island Hopping in the Greek Isles—One Island too far.

The tourist agencies must love this one. For about $130 you can spend a day touring three lovely Greek Islands with your nearest and dearest 400 or so friends. A bunch of Market Researchers boarded the rather clumsily constructed day traveler in hope of a real tourist experience. Little could we know what awaited us. It was to be a day in the sun with a few entrepreneurial lessons.

The first island was Hydra. No disappointment there. The place doesn’t allow automobiles and thus it is a winner right from the start. This gem of a Greek Island has the stunning beauty that one expects when you just think of the islands themselves. No disappointment, an hour and a half was too short.

The second Island was just a disappointment. Not a grand disappointment but a sure indicator of where things were headed.
The third Island was a story unto itself.
